1¢ Franklin Issue of 1851-1857, PLATE 3 Pos 98R3, (Scott #7) |
| Scott #7 Blue, Type II, Relief B Issued only imperforate. There are many marks of interest on this position. Most of the plating for Plate 3 was accomplished from Ashbrook black and white reference photographs and without confirming copies and other reference material, confirming the consistency of plating marks remains difficult. To confirm if a marking is constant, at least two copies of a position are needed. |
