Position 4L2 has a very weak Ornament L, and a weak Ornament M. This is a very useful plating aid, even though there are several other top row positions having weak L/M ornaments (such as 1L2, 3L2, and 5L2). This feature is not illustrated in Neinken, as the diagrams shown use the Ashbrook unretouched mats carried over from Ashbrook's 1938 book.
