| Figure 1 (below) Red arrows indicate plating marks shown in Ashbrook/Neinken plating drawings. These plate scratches are quite faint and probably fade away as the plate wears.

| Figure 2 below. Guide dot shape and location. Ashbrook also noted a dash protruding from the scroll located at the four red arrows. On the plating diagram, it is drawn short and pointing up. In reality it is a bit longer and curves down. This plating mark has been computer sharpened and can barely be seen on this copy. The faint dot at the end of the curved line is another consistent plating mark.
