| Scott #7 Blue, Type II, Relief A First Condition Only Issued Imperforate This image is part of a horizontal strip of 3 consisting of 18L1E, 19L1E, 20L1E. Other unconfirmed marks are shown and it is hoped that other students of this issue can confirm. See violet arrows below. The Neinken plating diagram shows Ornament S weak and incomplete, missing the lower curved line as indicated by the red arrow. The plating diagram also indicates a weak top curved line. This copy shows the weakness over the "TA" of POSTAGE. Also take note that Ornament P and the small unnamed ornament below it are complete and strong. This is shown in the plating diagrams but not detailed as a plating aid. |
